Because non-genomic pathways include any mechanism that is not a genomic effect, there are various non-genomic pathways. However, all of these pathways are mediated by some type of steroid hormone receptor found at the plasma membrane. Ion channels, transporters, G-protein coupled receptors (GPCR), and membrane fluidity have all been shown to be affected by steroid hormones. Of these, GPCR linked proteins are the most more information on these proteins and pathways, visit the steroid hormone receptor page.
IGF-1 doses and specific protocols of use is a bit of a controversial topic in both the medical and performance enhancement community. In a therapeutic setting, IGF-1 doses will normally fall in the 40-80mcg ranges and may be given 1-2 times per day. This is undoubtedly a large, very large dose, and it can be hard to control for some when we consider hypoglycemia. Most physicians will not have the individual start above 40mcg and levels will be monitored closely. Dosing may be increased by 20mcg if needed but will not surpass 120mcg for any reason as this will be extremely difficult to even impossible to control regarding hypoglycemia.
I was first told it was free and I only had to pay postage, but I was charged twice for the postage of one package, and then four days later, I was charged $ and $ for the "FREE" products! I sent them back after being told at first that I could not but spent an hour on the phone fighting this. I paid the return postage and was given a refund for one product, but not the other! I have since called countless times, emailed them twice, and finally got a hold of someone who said I have to wait yet again for someone to call me back.
